31  He decided how He would save man. We've tried today to educate man into it; we tried to school them, tried to educate them, tried to denominate, tried to do all these other kinds of things; bring them in, shake them in, baptize them in, every other way there is, bring them in by letters. But still remains, the same, God meets a man under the shed Blood of the Lamb. Blood was God's way in the beginning, and Blood is God's way tonight. It's good to do penance and all these things, but salvation only comes through Blood. Blood is the only way that God chose to save man, and He cannot change it.

3    And now, we're going to have communion tonight. And that's the time that we all enjoy, I'm sure. I think it's the delight of a Christian's heart, is to know that he is coming to keep a commandment that Jesus left us. There's two commandments that Jesus left us, two material things. One of them is the communion service, and the other is water baptism. Otherwise, there's no "touch, handle," nothing else left in it, see, just no penitence and dragging on your knees, and all these other kind of things. It's--it's just water baptism and communion. So we're always happy to come to this.

15 And then there's others who believe that, perhaps maybe, if they would burn a candle or do some kind of a penance, that that's a Christian. If they will merely be immersed in water, or they will do some sacrifice, or give some good to the church, or--or help the neighbor, buy some coal for the widow, or some shoes for the orphan... That's the acts that a Christian should do, but that still doesn't make them a Christian

186  O God, oh, how I love it. Heavenly Father, for each penitent one down at the altar now, bowing upon their knee, praying... O God, may mothers, dads, children, fathers, mothers, whatevermore, neighbors, church members, deacons, trustees, O God, at this old fashion molding-up time, setting in this hot room this morning, the Holy Spirit coming right down, speaking peace. O God, I want to stand that day to hear You say, gently, "Yes, you come up and made a stand for Me; now I'll make a stand for you." I want You to put that peace in every heart that's here today, God. Quietly and gently, I want You to do it. I want You just to move in there with such a feeling that it'll never leave them no more from this day henceforth. May homes be new. May people be a new person. May everything become new today because these people has humbled themselves. You said, "If the people that's called by My Name shall humble themselves, and pray, then I'll hear from heaven." And I know You do, this morning, God.

115  Now, you see, you're putting on something that isn't real. Now, you can't get warm by a painted fire, like some of these churches trying to paint pentecost, of something that happened a thousand years ago or two thousand years ago. You can't get warm by a painted fire. Pentecost is just as real today as it was then. See? Yeah. The Fire is still falling. It ain't a painted fire. It's a real Fire.

116    So, they, just there they was. See? I--I wouldn't want to live like that.

93   Still we notice, then, if her being the tassel, or... Wesley being the tassel; Pentecost then being the shuck, which is the next stage of the coming forth of the Grain.

239   Now, in Ephesians 1:10, it's called... Now, if you're putting it down, Ephesians 1:10, is called, not a dispensation, not the seventh day. It's called, "The fullness of time." And when "the fullness of time" has come, that's when time has been fulfilled. When there is no more time, then you go into Eternity, after the seventh church age is over, and it is; Luther's age is over, Methodist age is over, Pentecostal age is over. And now you go into (what?) Eternity; no more seven's, no more three's, no more other. They're in Eternity, where there is no such time as numbers, and times, and things. Amen! Oh, my! You see it now?

215    The Holy Ghost never organized nothing in pentecost. Pentecost is an experience, not a denomination. It never organized nothing. Oh, no. But the man who claim to be pentecost, organized it. That's the husk yonder, dying. Instead of pressing it into the paper, and make the full image of Jesus Christ come forth; no, they pulled themselves out, so they're nothing to do into It. Just let them alone.

354 The framework, Pentecost wasn't the framework of the Gospel. The four gospels are the framework to back Pentecost! After they had this framework up, Pentecost become into existence. Is that right? Which was wrote first, the Book of Acts or the--or the apostles? The apostles. Jesus walked along doing works and predicting what would come, and Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, them four guards come and was writing everything they seen coming to pass, telling it just like it is, how it was going to happen, what was going to take place. Then all at once they framed It around, and here It come! Amen! Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, is the framework, or the guard work that protects the main temple, the Throne, the Pentecostal Blessing.

150 But every Trumpet sounded under the Sixth Seal, under the persecution of the Jews. Notice, Revelation now, 8th, and begin with the 7th verse. All was the calling out of Israel, natural, in Egypt; now it's the calling out of Israel, in the spiritual sense. He was making them ready to come to the feast of the Atonement.

184    You say, "The Church has to go through the persecution, for the--for the perfection of It." The Blood of Jesus Christ perfects the Bride.

231 Now here is the calling-out time. At the Sixth Seal, when it's--when it opened, the persecution struck the Jews, in the literal standpoint; and here comes the persecution to the church, in the ecclesiastical standpoint; because, the Bride is already called. The Sabbaths are over, and ready for the Jews to be called. Where to? The feast of Atonement. Oh, church, don't you see that? Called to the feast of the Atonement, (what?) to recognize the Atonement; not no more chickens and geese, and what they been doing. "The Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world," Israel is going to know That.

25 Persecution always gives strength to the church. We've had it too easy. We get slothful. We get to a place where we don't want to move on, because everything's just handed to us. It takes sorrow, and tears, and sweat, and prayer, and faith, and promise to move forward in the power of the Holy Spirit. That zeal and power that they had in those days has long time vanished from our assemblies. I'm afraid if the windows would be shot out tonight, people'd run every way and never come back again.

90 The Holy Spirit here tonight is a-wooing to the unsaved, now if you're without Christ tonight. And when the battle is over if you want to meet Him in peace and take the communion with Him, and you've promised that you love Him, and separate yourself from the things of the world, take the old rugged Gospel and the old fashion rugged way, and drink the cup of the bitterness of the persecution of the world. And drinking the bitter drugs of persecution of the world, it's given to us by the Bible that we'll drink the sweet wines of heaven someday, when we meet Him in peace yonder between the heavens and earth when He comes to serve the communion.

166 That's the way the Gentile dispensation begin, with a pagan form of religious worship, with a persecution to make them bow to it. And the Bible predicts it'll end the same way, "a holy Man," Jesus Christ, an image to Him to worship it, and so forth.
